Another apple from the University of Minnesota. This apple was released in 2006 and has a remarkable sweet/tart balance. This apple is slow to brown when cut.
Although the origins of this variety are not completely known, it is thought to come from our neighbors across the pond. This juicy apple has a red striped exterior and packs a pleasant crunch and a wonderful sweet-tart flavor.
Large, crunchy, juicy red fruit with a sprightly sweet-tart flavor. Excellent for both fresh eating and cooking. The fruit will store for 6 to 8 weeks.
